Provide sources that he plans to use biometrics as a national ID. Actual sources, not just more fear-mongering speculation from you or anyone else.
wrong again ..

As usual, you can't make a legitimate point, so you twist meaning. You knew damn well I was referring to GWB in my post (referenced as King George in the title).
Like I said before, you have no point (like usual) and are full of shit.
I'll once again ask you where the article mentions George Bush.

that technology didnt even exist when george orwell wrote 1984..so he had to use his imagination and abstract it into a "telescreen"...unfortunately..ppl like you are too narrow-minded to realize that and insist on taking it literally instead...

What I did isn't the problem. Creating a misleading title to an article that has nothing to do with the said title is.
Also, the article never shows any evidence for the claim that biometrics will be the new national ID. All there is in the article is speculation and fear-mongering.

so he had to use his imagination and abstract it into a "telescreen"...
the telescreen of 1984 was in your home and monitored your every activity.
biometrics technology allows a person to be more easily identified based on their appearance.
the former was featured in george orwell's 1984, and is a clear violation of the right of privacy.
the latter was not a part of 1984 and i see that you are either unable or unwilling to clearly explain the negative aspects of its use.
i'll ask again:
how is this going to impact your life negatively? can you give an example of an actual scenario where this would?
