Mario Galaxy is supposedly a great game.

From what I've seen a lot of games don't really use the motion shit as much as the packaged wii sports. I plaed metroid that was pretty sweet you like moved samus around with the nunchuck then used the bar controller to aim and target shit.
Mario galaxy I tried and that was pretty sweet same kinda deal you moved mario around with the nunchuck then picked up stars and shit bar.
I don't have a wii but I think I'm gonna buy one when smash bros. Comes out. Smash bros. With online play? I won't come out of the house for a couple months.

My friend has Zelda and it's pretty damn cool. You use the controllers as your sword and shield and bow and arrow.

It takes some getting used to but once you are used to it, it rocks.
Super Mario Galaxy is a weird platformer that takes advantages of the controls. (and has a decent second player option for it being a one player game)
The new Zelda game is pretty sweet as well ... Like I said some getting used to though.
And then Super Smash Bros. Brawl is coming out too.
Also it can play Gamecube games and you can use an actual gamecube controller for it.
Fun system, good for parties and groups of people.

Mario Galaxy is awesome, Metroid Prime 3 is a really good shooter, sports games are good on it...what I'm waiting for most is Super Smash Bros. Brawl...and MLB 2k8.

FPS (metroid) work well w/ the Wii and games like Pikmen (or other point and click games) would also work well.
then there are a lot of games that use something other then the nunchuk: Super paper Mario (used the remote sideways like an NES controller) Guitar Hero III (used the guitar... duh) SSB (will prob. use the classic controller/ Gamecube controller)
