Trich on casing?

This casing has been in FC for about 3 days now. It has not been handled. Is this trich.? Doesn't look quite like the rest of my mycelium and there is that small blue/green spot.

Here is a picture of a casing that has been under the exact same conditions that I know to be contam free. The green in this picture is reflection of light.

Thanks =0)

It could be. You'll want to watch it carefully. Trich is bright white and thick like that just before it turns green. RR

Thanks RR. Any chance of salvaging if it is trich? I would be willing to remove half that casing if I had to.

I have fought this many times. I have never beat it but I have slowed it down so I could get shrooms to print.
Remember green = spores, I put bleach on infected area then cut out(cut out a large area,this mold can be in the myc and not visible). This is to try to stop spores from spreading. I then treat surrounding area with bleach.
I have tried slat water,h2o2 and bleach. Even sun light.Nothing has ever stopped it. Best of luck to you.

it is not worth the time to sa;lvage. I am pretty sure the first pic is trich. There is green in it for sure

Don't try to save it if it is trichoderma. Bleach doesn't kill molds. RR
