Wondering if anybody has experience with growing/grafting Frailea asteroides. I just sowed some seed of this beautiful cactus and I would like to try some grafts with it. Anybody have one?

i got a bunch, they are also known as Frailea castanea.

pretty easy to grow, but i have found they dont make good cuttings. have not tried a graft yet though. the big plus is they are self-fertile...some flowers don't even open and you still get good seeds. i personally cross them, but you don't need to. they always seem to flower at the exact same time (if you have more than 1)

lower light= greener higher light you get a nice deep red/brown..sometimes a little purple hue too.

very cool cacti man, but small. one of my favourites (i love small ball cacti!)
