OK. 2 liter bottle method, everything good, too good. I'm running out of room and will move them to a bigger terr tonight, BUT one pin that hasn't developed a cap yet was touching the moistured walls and has got a dark spot on the pin point where it was touching. Is there any way to save this? If I cut a little off the top will it live? Or will it be fine as long as I move it on over to a bigger terr? Its my first pin ever, and I wanted to see it touch the sky.

Don't cut it. Leave it be. If it is going to abort it will anyway and if it grows, even better.

Have you had this happen before? Its stands twice as big as the cake. I dont want to let it go but i dont want to lose the cake to any contamination either.

If it is that big it isn't a pin, it is a fully growing shroom whose cap hasn't opened yet. It will open soon.
Whenever a water droplet or something solid sits on the cap for extended periods, you are going to cause some bruising and darkening of the cap, but it won't contaminate the cake, even if you got a bit of bacteria on it (Does it look slimy?). Just don't touch the dark patch and then the cake.

Not slimy. Maybe a little soft. It was the first one out and all its little brothers and sisters are 1/3 its size. They have brown heads, this one used to be white, no color. Also I have made a bigger terrium for them and when moving them I found one was growing in circles on the bottom trying to find his way up. Should I leave this one be as well? Thanks, me

It will find it's way up eventually. If it doesn't, once you pick the last shrooms of the flush, pick that one too
