Sorry to hear that. My grandfather is slowly being dying of cancer. While he has had a full life, im still very sad for him. The worst part is we are 900 miles apart. We are very close though, up until this past year we had seen each other at least once or twice a week for the past 14 years. All you can really do is pray (if your into that) and show as much support as possible. Its terrible to have to go through that at such a young age.

Sorry to hear about your family problems with cancer. I don't pray myself, but I almost feel compelled to do it tonight for her, can't lose anything by trying.

I think she has Cervical Cancer, although im not 100% sure, I asked what kind and she said something like "down below" or something, so I think it's that, I didn't want her to go into detail just in case its embarrassing or something.

if there really is a cure for cancer and the government is hiding it, we live in a sick sick world.

The money is in the treatment. Sad but true. Good luck to your friend.

You guys are talking like she's already doomed. She is young and there are incredible advances in cancer research. I'm a cancer survior and I am only 25! And I still have all my hair! Bonus!

Don't talk like she's already dead. Just give her lots of love and friendship and support. I bet she's going to be just fine. Big fight ahead of her...but she'll be stronger for it.

My mother had the same cancer,,,,but she went threw menopause and didn't need all those parts.

but in that type the things that are needed to fix it are well known, its just a uncomfortable process, but cancer is very common actually alot of my moms friends have had it at one point in there life

well thats good to know, I really hope she does survive, it's just when I hear about cancer im thinking medication and procedures with lots of side effects and suffering with no absolute outcome.

I think if I ever got cancer I would just buy me a cottage in the woods and let me live peacefully with my last few years.

But it's easy to say that when I don't have it, perhaps it might be different if I really did get it.

either way, I intend to be a real good friend of hers.

Not all cancers are the same...

Do some research on cervical cancer.

If I remember correctly, it's not as bad as you are thinking... check it.

She probably had an abnormal pap smear, which means basically nothing.

my friend who is only 19 has HPV as well (which i'm assuming is where your friends cervical cancer originated from as well). she has precancerous cells already and they can't remove them for some reason, they just told her to be ready for treatment.

i really don't know what to expect, but good vibes to your friends and hopefully mine too

it doesn't cure someone who has hpv already... + it only blocks about the 4 most common types of the 100's of hpv viruses.
