Initiate pinning on bulk?

So my bulk was spawned only 2 days ago, and is doing exceptionally well. I have the bulk in monotubs, under some blankets to help with the temps, and are receiving no light. I am going to try the late casing tek with a 50/50 mix and that requires the bulk to have started pinning already. My question is when do I, if needed initiate pinning?

Greetings ....
I did a search ... typing 'late' and 'casing' and got fahtster's original post.
He mentions exposing the colonized substrate to light .... but doesn't specifically mention the other pinning triggers. I imagine the colonized sub is exposed to all the pinning triggers.
I will try this, myself, soon. When I do it, I am planning on exposing the sub to all the pinning triggers .... when it is knotting evenly and heavily (hope !) ..... case with 50/50 and I am planning on continuing to expose the casing layer to fairly intense light (6,500K) ... intense enough so the light penetrates the casing layer to the sub ..... with the casing and misting and fanning and FAE .... should be cool.
Good luck.
Let us know how 'late casing' goes for you.

If "late casing", pinning triggers should be introduced when your substrate is 100% colonized.
Add light, and provide adequate FAE when necessary.
Wait until pinning is initiated, then case lightly with the proper mix.

Yup. The idea here is to act like you forgot to case until fruiting had just started. Give your bulk a few days after it looks fully colonized, and then initiate. So, provide the FAE, RH, and 12/12, wait until you see your first fruits forming... then case.
