it appears the cap is already open, you may have had to much co2 going for a properly developed cap. i doubt youll get any spores from that mush.

you think its worth spoting/cloning it? it was the first to appear and getting huge everyday!

see how it pans out once the cap opens leave it till you see a few spores then print it, ive just had a real big flush of thick fleshy shrooms like yours, once you have took the cap for printing you can use the syringe stab tek to get a tissue sample for a lc clone, if it doesnt work out or the lc doesnt give a good flush then, what have you lost ? it pays to keep experimenting and searching for the formular that gives happy results good luck

Try it. If cultivation is your hobby, you'll want to experiment as much as possible for a better understanding of mycology.
If the mushroom has traits that are desirable for you, by all means, clone that shit.

its not FAE... i just birthed a few tubs and they did similar but instead they were lanky little fuckers. its either just genetic of the spore or it could be competing for water with another mushroom that is relatively close to it and much bigger and growing faster.

What you're seeing is the effects of multi-spore inoculation. Often, several strains develop that are not compatible with each other, thus they don't form into a single organism via anastomosis. Therefore, more than one strain is fruiting on the same substrate. If you clone that big ol' choad, future flushes will have all choads, but whether you'll get enough of them to matter remains to be seen. I'd clone it, and then after you eat the thing, you'll know if it's a strain you want to keep or not. RR

so true. there are like 3 or 4 tinning shroms forming around it with one of them right under it. also that multispore innocluations seems plausible.
gotta read up on making spores and LC's now :-)
it just looks so damn awesome! KinG CubIe!
