casings seem to have stalled?

these casings are about 600 mL each of rye berries, with about 400 mL each of casing mix consisting of 50% fine vermiculite and 50% peat moss, with 3-4 egg shells stripped of the inner skin and some calcium hydroxide.
I wasn't able to check the pH. I hope I didn't over-basify the soil. It didn't seem like much, only about 1.5 teaspoons for a little more than a liter of substrate.
now the growth seems stalled. I have had it at an extremely high humidity (ie standing water in the perlite) and am slowly decreasing it to a point where not so much condensate will form.
it's been at this stage in its growth for about a week with not much change. it looks like the colonized bits that are poking through are getting more fuzzy but no more colonization of the substrate is taking place.
should I leave it? or should I intervene somehow?
it's a tub-in-tub setup, by the way, with an aquarium heater and water pump going constantly at about 84-85 F.

you trying to fruit that or colonize it? if you want it to colonize, cover it in foil with small holes and keep the light off it and not in high humidity. if you want to fruit it, do as you are and pinning will take place in about a week

well... I'm trying to colonize it, that's all the growth that's taken place since I birthed the jars and there's not a whole lot of casing mix, really. I'll cover them with foil and take the lid off the chamber and post back in a week.

Doesn't he need to put that back into the incubator for a while ? I haven't done casings yet, but from what I remember reading was to let that colonize a little bit more.

If you're posting about pinning, it will invariably take longer than you were prepared to wait.
Relax.
Leave them be.
