I was going to pick up a rubbermaid today but didnt have any time. But i do have a cardboard box. Would that work just as good? Like just cut off the folds and put syran wrap on top and tape it all good. Then just cut 2 holes for my hands? Im wondering if i should just wait to get a rubbermaid. Or if this cardboard box idea would be fine. Im just getting axinous to get started. If i could use the cardboard box what could i use to sterilize it?

That'll work. or you can just use a clear trashbag, or opaque one if you trust yourself with a needle . Just don't pop the bag open. Just push the jars and needle inside, Oust or lyesol if you want to and do your thing.

Is this a cheap solution to a glove box I take it.Spray Rubbing alcohol in it to sterilize. Just another idea if you have a spray bottle laying around.

some people tend to believe that the majority of open air innnoculations that become contaminated are the fault of the person's breath upon the jar during inoculation. So if you go with that theory, then yes, a cardboard box is a safer alternative to open air innoculations.

Just remember DO NOT USE A LIGHTER IN THE BOX after you spray anything in it ...It sounds like alot of ppl don't think about combustion

Open Air Innocs: work quickly, keep your syringe vertical, learn the joys of alcohol swabs, I use a breather mask.
I have a ferrari glovebox, haven't used it in months.

I didn't know that there was room in a ferrari for a glove box.
