What is your definition of god? Do you pray to him/her/it? What is your relationship with him/her/it?

I see god as the body itself, and I am merely a blood cell to this body, unable to comprehend beyond this blood stream of life.

"God" for me is sort of a default term for something that can't quite be articulated or understood. It is something we can find glimpses of, but cannot comprehend in its totality. God is simultaneously within and beyond the universe.

Asking someone if they believe in god is a very broad question when god means so many things to so many people.

Quote:
What is your definition of god?
God is the entirety of everything. The whole universe and all of infinity. Nothing less. Nothing more. God is All, and All is One.
Quote:
Do you pray to him/her/it?
Absolutely, but that won't be the least bit a surprise to the All Encompassing One, because I myself, and my prayer, are part of this whole. The separateness is only perceived, because All is One.
Quote:
What is your relationship with him/her/it?
I greatly admire the One. Sometimes I'm struck by realizations and insights into the nature and sheer massiveness of the One, images so grand that I'm just smitten with awe. Sometimes I'm angry with the One over aspects of it all, but that's never for long. It gives me everything, even the core of my being. Immensely grateful, worshipper, unconditionally devoted.. what do you want to hear
Like all of us and every grain of sand I'm an essential part of the One, but so minute in comparison. I'm a traveler and an explorer, I consider it my blessed duty to experience, to observe and to learn and I try to understand the very nature of it.
If you see me getting on your bus with a big smile and a big backpack get the fuck outta there cause I'm as religious as it gets (just kidding ofcourse)

i see god as the orriginal mind and the maternal creative force of the universe; the mother. i see the physical world as the bodily manifestation by which the life of the world is nourished and the life of the world each as children of this mother. i am an animist and believe there are other entities which represent the orriginal spirits of the life forms of the world, a cohesive consciousness which unite and bind the incarnate members of species. these are what you might call totemic spirits.
i pray in several ways, i ask for virtues such as guidance, wisdom of judgment, strength of love. i believe in the value of gestures of thanks, such as material or comfort sacrafice so long as they are not significantly wasteful. i believe all gains of life and health sustaining things are gifts i should appreciate and which everybody deserves.
the reasons for my explicit beliefs are my own and are not subject to judgment, these are my beliefs and values.

God is in the mind. Although I'm not sure s/he is real. I don't believe in a hell though if we are considered equal. I just believe as soon as we die our minds stay awake and float to wherever we dream of going

God? How can anybody possibly believe in God?
I don't think it is possible, even when you die, you would never see a glimpse of God.
You could eat a million god damn mushrooms or something and think you are a God, or think you may have met God, but I do not think it is possible to honestly "believe" that it is true. Even if God does excist, I do not think anyone could ever come close to "touching" upon the surface.. I do not believe it is possible to "honestly" believe in something so utterly heavy. It would be beyond anything anyone could ever possibly comprehend, alive or dead.

God is a myth, but hey if it helps the overall world social mentality to be peaceful Its good.
The day religion starts to really fuck us over, is the end of religion.
Its a crutch for some, but if it comes to it, the crutch has to be dropped.
Bunch of crap if you ask me, science and evolution is the real reason we're here.......we have the chance to be god if we dont kill ourselves over bullshit religions.
