I'm not misting at all because my ultra sonic is so strong. I turned it a bit, Its just starting to pool up around the sides. Is this going to mess things up? any help would be great as this is my first time to apply a casing.

any pooling of water is not a good sign, and will eventually lead to contamination.
in my experience, ultrasonics are not really required for casings unless theres absolutely nothing else or you have a huge area to humidify, like an entire greenhouse. even then, people put their ultrasonics on timers.

I'd get rid of the ultrasonic and mist manually as needed. Casing layer moisture content is critical, so don't leave it to a machine to figure out.
Don't drill drain holes in your trays or they'll encourage bottom pinning due to the influx of fresh air on the bottom of the substrate. RR
