Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

dude, what the crap?

did you find this block tossed out?

they are pretty surely shiitake if they where growing from an artificial sawdust block in this circumstance, and these are pretty easy to identify.

shiitake is a good edible, often sold commercialy for the grocery market. and you're a vendor who sells kits. are you sure you're not messing with us?

in that case i think that's some species of amanita. probably deadly with heat seeking spores that make you fry on acid and then kill you by microwaving your liver with onions. cannibals use them in the south seas to hunt, kill, cook and season their prey.
