flashback/weird uncalled for thing

So last night (I believe I posted somewhere in this forum) I took 3 blotter hits of what I'm 90% sure was lsd. All went well, I explored vast mental scapes, and it was a greatly rewarding experience (though I will work over the next few days to really understand it). Anyway, I "dropped" at 11:00 last night, and tripped heavily until about 6:00 or 7:00, when the visuals died down and I entered the introspection stage, as the sun rose. It was, to say the least, quite nice, with the Grateful Dead in the background. So at 8:30, I decided to get up and go about my day. I was still unsettled and confused but otherwise satisfied and feeling "learned." At some point, I took a shower, got dressed, etc. I went back upstairs to brush my teeth (they had become uncomfortable after grinding them all night). I go into the bathroom, open the cabinet to get out the toothpaste. When I close it, I "feel" this dark shadow presence deal behind me, at which point I get the "oh shit" horror movie feeling, drop the toothpaste, and leave quickly back downstairs. Was this a fabled "flashback?" or just something trivial that seemed magnified in my fragile mental state?

"Flashbacks" are greatly exaggerated. Don't worry about it.

When people talk about flashbacks they're usually talking about briefly re-experiencing some psychedelic effects weeks, months, or sometimes years after the initial experience. What you experienced wasn't a "flashback" because it was less than 24 hours after the dose -- the time when the after-effects are still present. Lack of sleep definitely magnified this trivial (or at least unexplained) occurrence. Sleep deprivation alone can have a profound effect on ones cognition; combined with hallucinogens and this sort of thing could almost be called common.

That's just a paranoid feeling... it has nothing to do with "flashbacks" which are a result of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Unless your experience was really THAT traumatic I think it's safe to rule out flashbacks.
Plus, you didn't even sleep, did you? Lack of sleep sounds like the culprit to me... sleep deprivation can truly fuck with your head.
You're fine.
