I want to do an outdoor but only have B + strain. Ive checked the archives and a few other sites but I cant find much on Cubes being grown outdoors . What are the differences between woodlovers and Cubes when making an outdoor patch? :mushroom2:

I have buried some cubes outside and the colder temps make them very dense compared to an indor grow.. indoor shrooms are hollow inside and
cold temp (60-65 night temps) are very thick stout and dense.
my avatar shows an outdoor cube very thick and heavy deep blueing on
disturbing it .

why dint you just make a wood lover patch? What is your climate like?

The cool thing about wood lovers is that the wood is very unlikely to contaminate. Now everything loves straw/manure so you will more then likely get some sort of competition whether it be mold or other fungi

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.
