Sorry i reposted but i thought this would be more appropriate .should i leave my light on or off at birth to initiate pinning or turn the light off for 24 hours first

hmm if it needs a regular rhythm, would it be beneficial for me to birth the mushies in my plant grow room?

I recently had my Martha's light source rigged right along with my humidifier rig on a 1-2 min on, 5-10 min off cycle.
My mycelium completely forgot to fruit, overran my casing layer for two weeks, and it was growing out in q-tip like clumps of aerial mycelium.
I had pins 2 days after I set the light to 12/12.
Completely circumstantial: yes. True: also yes.
