Rise of Modern Mystical Union

Hello. Submitted for your perusal.
People are all buzzing about what the future will bring. Well here's something I have noticed on the rise. Dissociated pleasure.
Okay, I have read again and again and felt myself that joy of being alive which is free of object.
I didn't used to feel this. It only started for me after 27 years of life. Then all of a sudden I started feeling optimistic for no reason, in spite of what the news and 'reality' would have me believe.
Dissociated optimism. This is what I have been feeling, and after reading much of other people's reporting here and elsewhere on various BBS, I have come to decide that certain persons who maybe are not so immanently attached to objects have been developing a non-object joyousness, which seems to come from within.
This is my prediction is that the future will hold many bouts of spontaneous and pointless outbreaks of joyousness or optimism, against all reason or sense or 'reality.' Mainly for those who have lesser object orientation.
I don't know the reason for this. But I sense that it is because life itself is joy of living, and for those who are not object attached, that that joy becomes conspicuous in the absence of attachment to sense objects.
Maybe I am not right? Maybe also people who are very attached to sensuality may also feel this paradoxical joy which is conspicuous in its absence. I think the basic tenet somehow to the realization of 'it' though is to be able to relax.
So what do you all think?

Sounds like something I might also predict in my more optimistic moments. I've definitely been noticing the suddenness of joy increasing for me personally.
-------------------- “Strengthened by contemplation and study, I will not fear my passions like a coward. My body I will give to pleasures, to diversions that I’ve dreamed of, to the most daring erotic desires, to the lustful impulses of my blood, without any fear at all, for whenever I will— and I will have the will, strengthened as I’ll be with contemplation and study— at the crucial moments I’ll recover my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

Suicide rates are increasing worldwide. Another's opinion is unnecessary when the facts speak quite loudly.
Believing the rest of the world experiences your moods is ego-centric and projection of the highest order.

Eve69 did not posit that the rest of the world would feel this way, just that a portion of those who were not object oriented would.

So it is mystical and breaking news that some people will feel sad some of the time and some will feel happy some of the time?
Very deep.

Well when you put it like that it doesn't sound like much. However, it meant something to me no matter how little sense it made, as based in my own experience of feeling better as I got older, for no reason. This is the essence I think.
Also, suicide rates will go up since the population is three times larger than even fifty years ago. So that's no standard for what may yet occur.

A rate is irrespective of the size of the population. Duh!

So it is mystical and breaking news that some people will feel sad some of the time and some will feel happy some of the time?
"it is mystical and breaking news that some people will feel sad some of the time and some will feel happy some of the time?" is not an accurate summation of the initial post.
Eve69's reply to yours is a much better summation: based in my own experience of feeling better as I got older, for no reason
Very deep? , interesting?, certainly.

You give no supporting evidence for your idea that the whole world is changing because you have the warm fuzzies then demand evidence for something that is easily verifiable with a few second seach.

A rate is a percentage, so it is not linked to the size of the population. If the suicide RATE increases, this means that a higher PERCENTAGE of the entire population is committing suicide.
Quote:
The global rate of occurrence (new deaths per year) of suicide rose from 10 per 100 000 population in the 1950s to 18 per 100 000 during 1995 --per report by the World Health Organization

Has WHO published any statistics for the suicide rates for those who are not "object oriented". If they have, that would be relevant to this thread.
The fact that suicides are increasing for the population as a whole in no way shows that the statement,"that the future will hold many bouts of spontaneous and pointless outbreaks of joyousness or optimism", is not true for those who are not object oriented.

Anyway, the rise of "many bouts of spontaneous and pointless outbreaks of joyousness or optimism" will be especially poignant in the light of increasing rates of suicide.
