...then the only difference between Jesus and us is he was supposedly born of a virgin birth, resurrected, and did a lot of wonderful things.

My point is that we all have the light within us that is capable of changing the world if we truly believe in it. Love>fear

Worship love. God=love, Jesus falls under the love category as well.

I tend to think of Jesus as an avatar. In Hinduism, all people and things are manifestations of Brahman, but an avatar is imbued with full awareness and connection to one's divine nature. They are, in that sense, fully human and fully divine.

Jesus is really just an archetypal symbol for me.

Jesus had no inherent sin nature unlike all other men, who are fallen. This is a big difference. The sins of those He came to save were imputed to His account and He was punished for them, but He had no sin of His own and is perfect.
Fallen man has no inherent light, this is why a person must be born again, due to being born spiritually dead and in darkness.

Are you talking about alleals, as in inherited traits?

I'm guessing a typo... probably meant allele... basically a sequence of DNA that encodes a gene.

When they say he was born of a vorgin, I always took that to mean A Virgo.

Actually, the Hebrew word translated as "virgin" simply means "young girl."
