possible muscaria (updated with pics!)

hello all i will be uploading pics hopefully soon but i came across a patch of mushrooms today which i believe are amanita muscaria i found them by a pine tree in a group many mature and many without the veils being broken the cap is red with white spots white stalk and white gills.....is this an amanita muscaria or is it a deadly amanita?

Look at the volva for concentric rings.
If they are present it is A. muscaria.

impossible to tell from your pictures... u need to provide a decent shot of the base of the stem for anyone to be sure...

It isn't clear enough to show concentric rings.

In fact it looks kind of smooth, but maybe that is just because it is out of focus.

I wouldn't eat it until you have ID'd it properly, and that means looking for the presence of the rings on the base of the stem.

Based on your pictures I can tell its not one of the deadly species, so if you already ate it there is no need to call poison control just yet.

90% chance its A. muscaria. If A. muscaria had deadly toxic lookalikes, we would surely know by now. None of the known seriously toxic Amanita species are red.
