Outdoors without a doubt. Even better is hiking or camping on a rainy day with lots of clouds. There is something about clouds that make a trip awsome for me.

If you like nature, go hiking, camping, or go to the beach.
If you like large amounts of people and if you like observing the behavior of thousands of people, go to an amusement park, like Disneyland. If you like seeing pretty colors, go into a large store or mall, looking at the shelves or something.

The best times to trip are when it's foggy (best visuals ever), when it's snowy (even better when snowing), or stormy, with lightning and thunder.

A tornando viewed from a distance would probably be frightenning and amazing at the same time. The power of nature is awe-inspiring. The beach is great. The sand, water, smells, and sounds all seem alive. Stand at the edge of the water and look down as the waves come in and out. The patterns you see in the sand and water and the sense of motion you feel are unbelievable. We had an icestorm here a few years ago. The next day when the sun came out every leaf and blade of grass was coated with a shiny, prismatic layer of ice. It looked like little, glittering rainbows on everything (I was sober). I can only imagine what it would have been like on Lucy or Gus.

Yes, I've been eating them, for six or seven weeks now, haven't got sick once.

Go camping in an area has the best of lots of different natural sights. Like a camp site near a beach, but with heaps of bush and some cool trails.
Or a house that has a cool interior and a huge garden to play in.
And so on.
Basically, nature is the greatest place to trip in. It's such a liberating feelling to just lie down in a field and feel the wind on your face as the clouds zip past

I always thought it would be fun to trip in the woods on a fall day when the leaves are falling off the trees

Anywhere they lead you to .
But in the forest is the best , just do not follow bears for to long as I did , it got real scary running from them then realizing ............where the hell am I ? But all in all it was great and I will always prefer the great outdoors , very shamanistic !!!!!!

We have the mountains just outside the city so we go out sometimes to the lakes and sometimes just to hike around. Nature can't be beat for trippin'.

On my balcony (penthouse, 35th floor) of my condo I have a great view of the California landscape..I find it the perfect setting for a trip..

My girlfriend and I bring out my radio, we have our sun tanning chairs and we indulge in a beautiful sunset as we trip, its quite an experience tripping from such an extreme height.

IF any of you are thinking about this I totally recommend it, peace!

damn, I didnt know this thread was still going. thanks for all the replys. My friend just got some acid and we're gonna do it on sunday. we were trying to find a place to trip, the thing is once we start tripping we arent going to drive. We were thinking of going to the mountains and climbing a flatiron (huge flat boulders on top od the mountains here) and looking over colorado. I've been up there, you can see everything. I can only imagine being there at night.

It would be amazing to trip at The Rainforest Cafe.  (www.rainforestcafe.com)
I swear the guy who came up with that place did shrooms -- it even has a huge "mushroom bar".

If anyone has a friend that works at one, and could gain access to it after hours... that would be really, really cool

Wouldn't be cool to trip there during business hours, but if you had the place to yourself... it would be awesome
