Any liberal arts masters that have been spacifically influenced by the use of mushrooms?

I attend a figure drawing class once a week. Before the last session I consumed a cyan and a few libs. I know, it was a fairly low dose, but I'm not sure more would have been appropriate for a public setting. I suppose this means I should post a couple pieces in the forum. So far in my experimentation, stylistically, I have stayed on course with previous works that I've done. On higher doses, I have done a couple non objective pencil drawings where the lines crawl on the page continue to draw themselves. Even with very simple line drawings, strange things occur on the page. Actually feeling the energy of the pushing and pulling of lines and spaces. Difficult to explain without giving a visual. I will give some examples at some point.

-dizzy gillespie (mushrooms and lsd) -john coltrane (lots of lsd, and mushrooms), changed his whole approach to music/found god through music. -Santana(ayahuasca), inspired his album supernatural(my least favorite album by him).....The Idea was to "connect the molecules to the light"-----> bring his love of music to the masses, to better share himself.
trent reznor was on shrooms in the march of the pigs video. So I guess this video is pretty mushroomy, and funny.
Im sure there is a huge list of artists, but they just dont talk about it, or that personal info is hard to find, unlike the people I mentioned.

Thanks Phishe,
The missing mandala shirts will be back, I'm just trying to optimize my ink colors. The printers use Direct to Garment printers, which is all CMYK based and I want to make sure all my colors fall in the gamut. Wouldn't want to sell merchandise that doesn't live up to my own standards!

Coltrane is a strong point in that post I made. You can find a good bit of info about that(him and lsd).(good for a paper because he is one person who is considered to be one of the best ever and he talked quite a bit about how lsd influenced his improvisational approach. Anyways..............
-Tori amos(mushrooms and caapi)Hope you can find her stories. They are a fun read and she is fucking amazing. -sting (ayahuasca sessions in the amazon/brazil or some part of peru) Post police? I think thats the case but I may be wrong.
-phish-----------------> The O kee Pa Ceremony was sort of just their time to drink hot mushroomy chocolate liquid and jam for hours on end. They made one hell of a song out of these sessions I guess, called O kee Pa go figure. O kee pa has similare meanings in a tribal sort of way....lol The only member who did not partake was gordon(bassist). I guess he feels like he might use them some day when the spirit moves him. I atleast know that fishman was in on it(drummer)....lol John fishman was a huge acid head and im certain you can assume that he was influenced greatly by psychedelics. That guy is amazing and is not just some technical musical oddity like many of the great drummers out there. Its all soul. Ya its a hell of a jam influenced song. It has many doors made to be opened improvisationaly.
-Divided sky by phish. Trey and Tom Marshall wrote that on mushrooms after moving a couch outdoors and staring at the stars. Did the lyrics come first or was it the music? Likely the music.
The dead.......lol
Jefferson starcrash...........lol
You just have to find the right lagit interviews.

Ween is a very shroomy band, with much of their output, especially their earlier stuff, being written and recorded while on "piles of mushrooms."

Everything I've read about that incident indicates that only the "lyrics" ("Divided sky, the wind blows high" being the full lyrics) were written that night, and that the music was written later...perhaps years later.

If I am correct the Allman brothers used to take a dose in the morning and jam till they slept. Then repeated the next day.
