So I was satisfying my curiosity over at Ogrishforum.com the other day...
    #7771349 - 12/17/07 08:17 PM (16 years, 6 months ago)

And I stumbled across this video which I believe to be Chechnyan. These armed fucks have 4 prisoners tied up and laying on the ground next to each other, and one guy is up on a hill. One guy pulls out a large knife and starts hacking at the guys neck but he manages to get up and run. The soldier is chasing this guy around, trying to cut his head off. Meanwhile, the guys on the ground get their turn. One guy pulls his head back and starts hacking away, gurgling bloody screams from his open throat, while the other guys are forced to listen. They know it's coming but they can't do shit about it. One guy is even screaming for his mom! I can handle my gore, but that shit's just heartbreaking.

How fucked up is that shit. I mean I can't understand how a human being could do that to someone. If it's a war, then fucking shoot them...don't hack their heads off with booie knives. What would you guys do in a situation like that? Someone's got their knee on your back, blindfold over your eyes, and you know any second that blade is going in, and they're not stopping until your dead.

Bud Dwyer is awesome.  I never knew blood could come out that fast   I wonder how long you're actually alive for.  It CAN'T just be instant like that... I mean to go from living, to completely dead in a split second?

the brain is probley still functioning somewhat, but who knows, he may have had some massive trip those last few seconds of his life.

i find the reactions of the people to be worst than the blood....except for the guy who yells "call 911, somebody call 911!", lol.

Thats what Filter's song "Hey man nice shot" was about.

That Chechnyan video is pretty hardcore, I like how the soldiers cut from the inside out.

I would use a shotgun in my mouth though, not a pistol.  If I'm going out, I want it to be a sure thing.  A pistol shot might just leave me retarded if I'm not right at that 40 degree angle.  Screw blood pouring from my nostrils, I want the back of my head sprayed on the wall behind me.

I believe the people who are capable of doing those things are usually desensitized from a very young age. Take the African child soldiers for example. Seriously, humans can be desensitized so throughly that they will do anything. You'd be able to do the same things if you were trained to do so from an early age. You can try to deny it, but its true. I can't help but think our race is a doomed one.

I don't think we're doomed necessarily, I mean science alone is a reason for us to keep going. You're probably right about the desensitizing part though. If you're taught that cutting people's heads off is for the betterment of your country, you'll do it.

The child soldier thing is absolutely deplorable. The first thing they expose you to is probably the most traumatic thing a child could ever experience. Which basically shuts their brains off and allows the men to mold these kids into trained executioners.

If your not sure what I'm talking about...The first thing a forced child soldier must do is kill your parents.

Is mankind doomed? I don't think so, but I do think that presently the minds of men are corrupt.

Decapitating someone and sending out the video sends the message that you are really fucking serious about what you're doing. It will make anyone who thinks about joining the occupying forces think twice. It's how you, outnumbered, and out-gunned, put fear in the hearts of your enemies.

If you had gotten fucked over by soviet union as badly as the Chechnyans, you'd probably be just as pissed off.

Beheading isn't as bad as it gets, though. The mujahideen in afghanistan would capture soldiers, cut around the waist, and put the skins over the heads of their still living captives, sneak them onto runways and leave them there.

In the end, though, they managed to convince the west that they were utterly devoted to booting the Soviets, and were provided with all manners of weapons. Turned afghanistan into the Soviet Vietnam, and played a large role in the downfall of one of the world's two superpowers. These guys were shepherds, dirt farmers, started with only captured weapons, and toppled an empire.

Conviction is everything.

And in terms of what you'd do in that situation, you're better off dying on your feet than winding up in that situation. Save the last bullet for yourself to deny the enemy the demoralizing effect that your videotaped execution would have on your cause.

Because ogrish doesn't exist anymore.

Also, the situation is Chechnya is so fucked up, that I don't think you could possible understand it unless you lived there. When you are around that type of shit all the time, its normal.

War is hell. Plain and simple, If I was the guy with the knife the video wouldn't be any different. If I was the guy on his knee's like said above, I would take death over capture in that situation any fucking day. Even if it means suicide.

Wars are won when one side has lost the will to fight, videos like this do more for winning a war than killing a hundred enemy troops.

That was going to be my point.

If you think the US occupation of Iraq is a horrible thing, do yourself a favor and educate yourself about the Chechan conflict and what Russia does to the people there.

That is a enemy occupation.
