Growing Population Vs The Human Brain

do any of you think that all of these school/church/mall shootings could be due to the growing population? what happens if you take a bunch of dogs, put them in a big area, supply them with food and water, and let them duplicate? will they go insane once they are all crowded together? provided of course that they all have plenty of food and water.

I think to a certain point our growing population will always be a contributing factor simply by increasing the possibility of a freak occurance.
What I'm curious of is the max sustainable population of the world and how creative nature gets enforcing it.

If it were due to overpopulation, these shootings would be happening in places like India and China, not small towns like Littleton, CO.
