sex and ethics

Things that are naturally good, something that increases human happiness without harming other individuals, is morally right. Sex is that natural good in multiple ways and is beneficial to both the society and the individual as it increases others happiness in reproduction and satisfaction. Sex should be viewed as both a form of reproduction and an act of satisfaction. Reproduction is simply how man perpetuates his own existence, yet satisfaction is how he finds meaning in it. Satisfaction is defined by both a higher feeling, such as love, and immediate gains in pleasure, such as lust. Man is not the only mammal that has sex for pleasure, nor is that pleasure a horribly bad thing; seeking sex as pleasure has many health benefits. Sex is simply a multi-purposed tool of humanity, and can be viewed as a fulfillment of mans wants and needs.
Sex is obviously the first rout one takes when seeking to add to the general population of the world. In this, many may find its only purpose, because sex is nature’s way of reproducing outside of the human boundaries. Most animals only inseminate when the female is in heat, or when the female is at optimal reproductive functions. However, one must realize that other higher mammals have sex not only for reproduction, but for satisfaction, too. Among these animals are dolphins, and the Bonobo or pygmy chimpanzee, and they participate in casual sex with other members of their group.
But beyond this, casual sex is seen in the society of man as a questionable act. This may be because of the perceived lack of a higher feeling of lets call love. Without love, many would find sex to be meaningless or selfish, yet seeking satisfaction in sex has multiple good outcomes. But one potential outcome of a sexual relationship is that it allows for partners to connect intimately in a means outside of a bedroom. This means that the love connection one would feel for another actually grows in a sexual relationship. Another outcome that sexual relationships have on individuals is that of physical healthiness by allowing a more healthy heart and respiratory system, and releases many needed hormones in the body to keep it healthy.
But some might find objections to these views. For example, sex isn’t the only rout one must take to add to the population. There is laboratory controlled artificial insemination that would eliminate both bacterial and viral diseases that sex spreads in the forms of STD’s. The diseases alone could be seen as reason enough that sex should be monitored, and the practical application of laboratory controlled conditions would potentially save lives and breed a cleaner society.
Yet what this argument fails to realize is both the immediate health benefits of sex, and the longing relationship feelings one gets from sex. The above argument also fails in understanding condom use, and how if it was applied as universally as the laboratory conditions, than that in itself could also ban disease from spreading.
It is apparent that sex is beneficial to those using it as a means to reproduce and for pleasure. Sex stimulates the growth of society with reproduction, and also increases love feelings within relationships and health of the body, too. Because sex is beneficial in these many ways, sex becomes a naturally good action, and thus is a moral action.

Cardio workout!
-------------------- Republican Values: 1) You can't get married to your spouse who is the same sex as you. 2) You can't have an abortion no matter how much you don't want a child. 3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer. 4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.
