Datura inoxia (PICS)
    #774999 - 07/25/02 04:19 AM (21 years, 7 months ago)

A friend of mine just moved and while helping him move in I spotted some datura in his neighbors yard. Apoun closer inspection I noticed it wasn't the common D. stramonium that grows all over GA like a weed, it was D. inoxia, a type of datura that I've never seen before and that isn't native to this part of the country. The flowers are huge, bigger than my hand, and are extremely fragrant! Figured I'd snap some pics and share.

Here they are....

That stuff grows by itself in front of my house every year. I like it. They don't require much.

I have a bunch of datura seeds that I never bothered planting. Would it be a waste to plant some now or not? Are datura annuals or perennials?
