Home made filter for air hose

I am using the pitcher tek, how can I filter the air coming into the set up? And filter the air going out, cheaply?

I don't even know what the hell the Pitcher Tek is. But, to make a poor mans in line air filter, simply get a short peice of PVC pipe (any small diameter like 1 or 2 inch) & get PVC caps for both ends. The caps are about 0.50 cents each & a 8 foot length of pvc pie is under $2 bucks at Home Depot, Ace or about any hardware store.

Find some stiff small bore tubing (like they use w/fish tanks) that fit your air line & some open cell foam (the kind you can blow through) & a bunch of polyfil. Cut a 1 foot (or however long you want) peice of PVC pipe, stuff in foam, then poly, foam, poly so on & so forth.

Drill a hole in each cap the size of the stiff tubing & glue in. Put caps on the pipe full of filter material, hook the air line to the tubing on the caps & start pumping .

If your using fish-tubing, this will solve all your problems... it's worth a look.
