wikipedia is not a valid source, but since you are using invalid sources to prove me wrong, i will use one to prove me right http://altreligion.about.com/library/weekly/aa100102a.htm
Its frivolous to argue about that though. Since this kids argument just isn't complete. The pentagram is just one part of his argument. And still, both pages we offered prove that his notion thats it the sign of satan is misinformed. It has various meanings.

From the link above:
Quote:
Christians once more commonly used the pentagram to represent the five wounds of Jesus,[1][2] and it also has associations within Freemasonry.
I'm confused as hell.

She just had nothing constructive to say so she decided she would attempt to disprove me on an irrelevant topic, and accidentally provided support for my claim using an invalid website as a source. Its ok, she has a track record of foolish posts. Some good ones lately, but lots of retarded ones in the past. There is even an otd thread dedicated to her stupid posts.

Ok, here's the correct answer: The pentagram is a symbol which goes back way before the beginning of Christianity. However, in Christian symbolism, it was sometimes used to represent the wounds of Christ.

Can't argue with that. The Rhodes Scholars in that forum are excellent judges of character.

To the OP.
He says the bible(a story) is fact. And therefore disproves evolution.
HE IS SMART.

maaan. both the original and response kinda were ehh... but the original was just ugh.
All i'm gonna say is that Evolution and Creationism are both recognized as "theories".
So comparing one to the other obviously won't work. So this whole argument is ridiculous.
One thing that this proves is

Everyone has their beliefs. As a chef, I normally work with bare hands because I shower and wash them constantly, however, I have found a rare few people who will not work without gloves. While I thought it was weird, I never questioned it, as some people know themselves better than anyone else ever will. So maybe in the case of cooks who refuse to work without gloves, they have some disease they are worried about. Well, maybe in the case of some people who are very anti-dope, they are afraid of their sanity, or some other thing, like drug related problem of a relative or something. You know, I have known some totally uncool people on dope. I mean, they got high and they turned into bloody fools. That kid might be like that. Maybe being a bible tool makes him safe for society. Um Hmm. It's like that. Besides that bible stuff wears off. One of my favorite girlfriends ever started out trying to convert me. She only converted part of me. :)

In a way, I'd like to hear what this kid thinks after he watched Zeitgeist. It's a pretty tough one to try to argue against, if that's even possible. Although, I'm sure someone has tried.
oh, and Icelander, I really like that picture of that Buddha you have there. Do you know who first created it?

:edit: I just now read the part about MushroomTrip's pictures. I can't even imagine.. She's absolutely beautiful, in my opinion.

This kid gets all his material and 3/4 of his delivery from Kent Hovind. There's probably over a hundred hours of Hovind giving lectures and debating evolutionists on Google video. He's a great speaker and a complete jackass, though admittedly somewhat entertaining to watch. He's currently serving time for tax evasion.

Interestingly enough, Kent Hovind is offering $250,000 to anyone who can give scientific proof of evolution. Get to it, people! Or else you're selfish cowards.
