The Psychedelic Experiment

Anyone fond of delibratley setting up goal-orientated stimulus over-loads to either solidify or completely destroy objectifications or conclusions that yourself or others came to? This has been ongoing for me with my research (I call it that for it makes me look a little more serious; props if you think I am a drug-addled lunatic pyscho)
ANYway, I currently set up "particular sessions" for my Pyschedelic Research Society (are YOU afraid of the dark?) these current situations:
-Playing Instruments -Music listening sessions (with a mind to play non-desirable trip music (i.e. Death Metal and shallow pop music) -Creating "average" trips by laughing at the trip (fuck you Acid, you ain't shit!) -Joke and Humour brainstorming for later use in "sobriety" and future chemical inductions -Imagination and World building -Fuck with me using words test -Creating thought processes that are able to be explained using words and shapes -Destroying and creating for the sake of -Trying to formulate the most absolutley moronic combinations of words we can think of
If I set up a school, it'd be called the "Sabina Institute of Psychological Aeronautics Engineering" where most of the people on this site would be welcome to try my group's methods, or teach me a thing or 2 billion.
Apply now, the Sabina Institute of Pyschological Aeronautics Engineering WANTS you!
Just let me know WHO and WHEN you are coming to my area;-)
Anyone here take psychedelics in a manner not related to spirits, personal growth, or the nature of reality? A pyschedelic experience between the realms of recreation and productivity?

Sums up just about related to tripping, yes, although looking for specifics not related to the previously mentioned items of spirits, personal growth; I will admit that experiences of spirits and growth HAS happened from said methods. I guess way to word the question is: Who trips to try to bring back something that has levels of tangibility? Art, documents, film, thought processes?

Me and a few friends had a discussion about something kind of similar to this ("It'd be like the 60s, but official.")
Those sound pretty interesting. Tried listening to classical music tripping? Very interesting indeed. I'm trying to experiment with various ways of inducing a more spiritual trip- religious artwork does the job pretty well. Regardless of the situation, I keep seeing Oms every time i trip. Very reassuring.

Recruits are needed and welcome!
I have a planet I have been working on for 5+ years, and my whole life if you consider its derivatives from earlier accounts of my personal history of world building.
It is called Demetrus an has its own Philosophies, fashion, all kinds of rich culture and even drugs and their effects and cultures surounding them. It all connects. One experience with world building is how it will build itself, eventually becoming real in a way, or no longer yours. Meta-programming is a word I'd certainly use in this case. It is not an escape, but a mirror image of something* and I could probably go into needless length about how it relates directly to your ego and other psychological aspects, but that ain't fun so fuck it.
Classical music is a sea I am swimming in and looking for an island to ground myself. There is so much out there, and I'd like a point in the right direction as to what to start with. Something that might take me months to fully listen to.

Beethoven's 3rd Symphony Shostacovich's 5th and 7th Symphonies Finlandia by Sibelius is really good, too. If you listen to any triumphant sounding classical, and just close your eyes, it does a lot for visuals as well as being amazing in its own right.

The most recent experiment involved a fog machine, blacklights, the dead, blankets(a good way to connect an entire room), a magical artifact named black jello which takes one to another world and a couple of living animal companions. Needless to say we bounded around the garden of eden until being ejected...
The culmination was The Holy Mountain.

I've been wondering about some good classical to go along with the psychedelic experience too so thanks.

i approach trips in a really similar way especially when it comes to: -Creating "average" trips by laughing at the trip (fuck you Acid, you ain't shit!) -Joke and Humour brainstorming for later use in "sobriety" and future chemical inductions -Imagination and World building -Creating thought processes that are able to be explained using words and shapes -Destroying and creating for the sake of -Trying to formulate the most absolutley moronic combinations of words we can think of
my friends and i will take some idea and then run with it and make it completely ridiculous and once we cant go any further, we recount how ridiculous it has become then usually end up saying something like," nicely done lsd, nicely done". with the creating thought processes, we usually use sounds and body language to describe them along with the methods you described. haha, destroying things in the most creative way possible is an art form we like to practice as well as making up the most ridiculous "insults" to call each other.

My friend used to like telling me really odd stories (like the adventures of the number 0 and 1) while I was on shrooms and then after a while of telling the story he'd ask:
how long do you think i've been telling this story?
and i'd say 10 minutes and he'd say something like 20 seconds
and that was interesting

I'm interested in whether it's possible re-experience forgotten memories, like from early childhood. And whether they are real memories or imagined ones. To test it you could try remembering what you were wearing aged 3 or whatever at a particular occasion (like a wedding) and note it down in as much detail as possible. Then after the trip check it against a photograph you haven't seen for a long time.
I'd also like to try remembering how I felt about things more recently. And what happened during alcoholic blackouts. I sometimes spontaneously re-experience physical sensations, almost like a tactile recording is being played back. But it's difficult to focus trying out these experiments when strongly tripping.

I certainly believe it is possible to do what exactly you are saying; After all it is just regaining awareness of memories and the patterns that come along with them.
This one lad I dosed on mushrooms for the first time wanted to do them again for that very reason: He was able to vividly revisit early memories and call on some for the first time. I feel light doses, in the range of threshold is the perfect key for this kind of work. That is in my experiences of course.
Using Psychedelics to recall memories and check their accuracy, via means of referencing to material and first hand associations/sources (such as a picture, your mom, or even home movies) reminds me a lot of the practice of psychometry.

Whether it works or not, it is fun and breaks a mold, or some shit like that. Dig it?

I suggest reading Ketamine: Dreams and Realities by Karl Janson. It goes pretty in depth into these possibilities.

The book also talks about the absurdity of assuming Ketamine is only for horses

if you have people who can create visuals, its fun to play around with having people focus on a spot and take turns projecting their thoughts.
the other thing i used to do is make cds with random lectures, music and ambient sounds, and then put them on 4-5 cd players at the same time in the same room. its pretty neat.
also with the word tests, did you mean a dianetics sort of thing?
i can see how it would be amusing to get a group of people tripping, and you take one persona and have everyone else stare at them, then read off a list of random words one by one, and then discuss what unconscious ticks you noticed.
