What Greatfull Dead tracks would you add to the Uber trip playlist?
I got 18 albums of theirs so should have all suggestions, i just havent explored them as of yet....
Id really appreciate some good suggestions for theyre best psychedelic tunes, ive already found lots of cool tripping music from this sites communities suggestions like shpongle (around the world in a tea daze) and phuturprimitive, the beatles are the best so far though!

i listened to about 50 grateful dead tracks last night and didnt like one of them, sounds jst like boring folk to me, id prefer to jst hear the instrumentals of the tracks, then theyd be great, the lead singers voice and the lyrics jst dont appeal to me at all.
i conside rmy tatse very eclectic aswell

Very few people like the grateful dead the first time they hear them. Unless the first time was hearing them was live at a concert. Its an acquired taste just like that of any other sophisticated connoisseur.

Strange! I'm feeling the same way.
There's some GD on my list but most of it is instrumental.
But like the BoneMan said, I'm starting to enjoy the singing parts a little too. I wonder why it usually grows on people.
Though there's a bunch of songs that I definitely did not like and couldn't see myself ever liking. Too bad I didn't take down the names.

Now there's a whole lot more songs of theirs I like.
Sunrise has such a beautiful opening. Stronger than Dirt, Sugar Magnolia, Let it Grow, China Doll, The Other One, etc..
There's a lot of great songs they have. I wonder if it really grows on people, or people just discover other songs in their large collection or what. The whole thing is a mystery!
