How much do you remember your childhood?

I remember so much of my childhood. Many of the good times, and some of the things which i repressed since I was 5. I still have clear memories of the age of 3. I hold onto my memories, even though im not someone who lives in the past. I remember things from every year of school.. It helped that in 1993 I was in 3rd grade, 1995 I was in 5th grade etc... But it seems that many people I talk to only remember very very little. I can remember some things that happened 15 years ago(when i was 8) better then what happened 2 days ago but thats pot for ya

I remember more than I'd like to sometimes. Good things, really, but I'm a nostalgic person so if I'm depressed it's a little haunting.

I remember my dear old childhood back in Chicago playing Atari, sticking close to my older brother. I would tear apart his G.I. Joe toys, or smother playdo on Dinowar action figures. Ride the little catapillar buggy which was my favorite. Talk to snails in my moms plants. And played with a turtle I had as a pet. I remember when it died my mother washed its shell and let me keep it.Playing with Russian triplets. I think I even ate a cat for dinner? uhh.... and watching tons of Ninja Turtles, playing on a crazy playground with a bunch of strange kids. I also had a mushroom haircut at 3. Every boy wore a rat tail, I used to get lost on purpose too and throw dirt on some black lady's window and she'd scare me away by sticking her face right through it. i also remember jumping out of a fake pirate boat ride that rode through a cave full of treasure in one of my friends camps i had visited. I jumped outta that boat and thought I could walk above water.(since it was plastic underneath) I also had the worst urinary reflux so they hadda rush me to the doctors a lot. I also remember letting my friends do whatever they want we'd draw all over the sheets and walls and everything of my parents. They weren't too happy like I was. Being a kid feels way too short though. We grow up faster than we know it. Wish I could fall back and live like that again. I also used to wake up every day thinking I could control the sun going up.... Or that I'd wake up someday as a newborn thinking that my whole life growing older was just a dream.

I remember some of it. I know a lot of it I forget, but for the most part, I remember it.
The only think I can't recall that I really wish I could is how i thought back then. Thats the thing I miss.
I remember me and my neighbor pouring gasoline on my parent's garden because we thought it was funny. And lighting fires on the driveway.
lots of mischief, lots of mischief...
I remember catching guarder snakes down by creek in the woods, and wanting to be a jungle man when I grew up. (still kind of want to be one)
I recall all of the embarrassing moments the best though. They really stick out to me.
Like when, on Halloween, i stuck my tongue out at my neighbor because i wanted them to see that it was blue from the candy I was eating. They took it the wrong way, and though I was being a butthole.
I remember fondly all the times I got in trouble as well.
Playing with fire (my dad was very understanding) fireworks, gasoline......
Come to think of it, my childhood was fucking awesome.

i remember in second grade everyone thought the puddle of urine was apple juice- so they help pitched in cleaning it up with paper towels. I also used to erase peoples names off their tests and put mine on it.

I think the oldest memories I have is at age 3. Mainly pointless stupid memories, like everyday kind of stuff...lol, I don't get why I remembered those but I did. And I remember ages 7-10 fairly well.

One time I was in the aftermath of a particularly intense LSD trip, and I relived memories from being a baby, or, well, of a time when I was less than one year old.
I was sitting in my baby bath, that tub was huge while in fact it was 2 1/2 ft or so long. The warm water, the smell of baby shampoo, the kitchen of my parental home like it was back then.. even at a relatively close distance my vision was blurred, and I found out later on that that's actually the case with babies. There were NO WORDS in my mind. No language, just Experience and a sense of total wonder and peace.
Wow. Being as young as a baby kicks such ass, there is NO LANGUAGE in your head, everything is so new and miraculous.
Magical

Are you sure that was REAL repressed memories of you in your babyhood and not a fabricated memory? I don't mean to doubt you, and by no means am I new to LSD, but I've never unlocked a memory during an LSD trip, I tend to focus on the present and future when on LSD. Focusing THAT far back is hard for me on psychadelics. If you're absolutely positive that it's a real memory, can you provide any tips on channeling my thoughts back that far? I can remember back to around when I first learned to talk but anywhere before 2 years old is really hazey, if anything.

Well, ofcourse you never know. But it seemed pretty real and was very vivid.

Sorry, it just happened. The Trip centered alot around birth and death and I was reliving all sorts of memories. It just overcame me, I can't tell you what I did other than sitting back, relaxing, closed eyes and emptying my mind.
It just popped in there. Real? I think so. There was no particular event in that sequence, usually fabricated memories are about something that allegedly happened and was relatively dynamic.

Something kinda similar happened to me. I was watching "Death to the Supermodels" and my mind flooded with "memories" of watching that movie when I was about 3 (I was in the house I moved out of when I was 4).
I "remembered" that my dad would put that movie on and watch it with me and my mom would get mad at him for it. I "remembered" him calling the photographers some weird name that I've already forgotten. Everything about the movie brought back some "memory" of watching it when I was a kid, and the memories were SO fucking real...
Until the next day my friend informed me that the movie was made in 2005

man, that's crazy, same exact fucking thing happened to me in the second grade. Rents took me and my sis to see the nutcracker down in philly, crapped my pants 1/2 way through it, but luckily enough i didn't have to sit in it for the other 1/2 my dad took me home.
I can remember some things from around 2-4, and as i get older my memories get clearer. I too have some of those memories of whether or not it happened, there is one where my mom drops me off at some ladies house to watch me and all i can remember is it feeling like some horror film. I didn't know where i was, didn't know who this lady/thing was (because to me in my memory i remember her as more of a monster), and i was stuck in a weird room in a crib. Every time i would make noise this thing would come in the room, sit down in a rocker chair, and make hissing noises at me.
Later came to find out that it really did happen, the lady/thing was an aunt of my mothers, and i was sick with an ear infection at the time (i got really bad ear infections as a kid, several of them causing extremely vivid hallucinations). Kinda freaky, figured it was just some sort of dream, but when i talked to my mom about it she knew exactly what i was talking about.

The last time i hallucinated from an ear infection i was in first grade. I was trying to go to sleep and literally watched an episode of the original star trek in my room.....where there wasn't a tv. It really freaked me out, i started yelling, my dad came in and brought me into his room, fed me some toast and ginger ale, then i puked all over his bed.
good times.
