Yeah H2O2 has only one place in this hobby.. and thats for cobweb..
Sharpen your sterile procedure and all points where you MIGHT get contams, when your fruiting your sub will contam with age.. sometimes sooner.. no reason wasting time and energy with h202!!

exactly, exposing them to h202 could weaking the mycelium enough to let contams in.

So, now that we are growing shroom in a media which naturally it never can grows (like seeds or other things), we don't have to use peroxide?...
I think that we can use it for whatever we want, the only thing we have to be care is to use it properly.
Now, what is properly is the trouble here. But there is no motive to say: "NO USE PEROXIDE" without knowing in what should you use it.

I theorize that if you have a container with water that uses a bubbler stone, inside your terrarium, then you could add a bit of h202 into the water to increase the amount of oxygen in the air.

I tried that. My O2 meter didn't budge, not even 1/10th of 1 percent. The same thing was observed when peroxide, even in high concentrations was added to a humidifier. The O2 released into the air by peroxide is negligible. RR

My personal opinion only from experience and not to be harsh. Peroxide is to kill spores in a substrate. You rinse the shit out with clean water!! Get it! If you are adding it to agar it's ok as long as it is in the right proportions. You do not add it to sterilized stuff other than that and I do rarely use it in agar myself. It is like cleaning your counter top. You spray it down and wipe it off. Thats it!! We are not feeding h2o2 to anything but spores.

I was basing my theory on using H2O2 in an aquarium to increase disolved oxygen content in an emergencey.

Also im thinking in use H202 to introduce oxygen in the LC cultures.

I used to study chemistry, and so far as I know, the rules for a gas dissolved in a liquid don't really apply to liquids suspended in air. Also, a fish probably has a very different respiration process than a mushroom. Just an idea, and I'm new, but this is the little input I can give.
Plus, RogerRabbit's trial and error would agree.
