Yes, I do. I didnt think it mattered how much I ate the night before, but the trick really is to have a good meal and then sleep on it.
I assume you've got a mega-metabolism like I do. The other thing to do is eat more through the day-- if you're eating a meal before you sleep and you're starving when you wake up then you're not getting enough during the day. Heed the call!

For that one fraction of a second, you were open to options you'd never considered. That's the exploration that awaits you...not mapping stars and studying nebulae... but charting the unknowable possibilities of existence. To carry yourself forward and experience myriad things is delusion. That myriad things come forth and experience themselves is awakening. -Dogen Zenji

My friend recently had hunger pains when he'd wake up. It also started to continue throughout the day no matter what/when he ate. Turns out he has an ulcer. It was either hunger pain, or heart burn he would experience. Check in with a doctor if you think its not going away. Many medicines like zantac 75 do not help, even possibly make it worse (if its an ulcer).

usually if i eat just before i go to bed at night, that is when i wake up with massive hunger pains. it doesn't make sense i know but try too eat dinner earlier. i'll be interested in finding out if this helps you.

i make sure theres something beside the bed, small bottle of orange juice or something. so when i wake up if i cant move because of hunger, i can drink that down and thats enough to settle the stomache for a sec and go get some food
