I just started to enter the fascinating world of growing mushrooms. After two or three cakes i'm starting to see a pattern where my mushrooms are pretty weak, their stems tend to be wrinkly and the cap droops upside down like it's deprived of nutrition or something. Also most of my pins turn blue and don't do anything from there. i read that the lack of oxygen can be a factor in pins not growing, i was just wondering if it also can be a lack of humidity or too much of it. Any help is appreciated about how i can grow abundant, healthy mushrooms without aborts. Thanx

Keep your cakes well hydrated. Dunking and straw teks are ideal. Fan 2-3x a day and use perlite humidification. This pretty much takes care of growing with PF-style cakes
