Pear wood anyone used it for outdoor beds?

I have a pear tree that needed removal and was wondering if this would make good wood chips for azure beds? Has anyone tried this orknow of someone who has? Thanks

Not all the woods work fine for fungus, avoid any tree wich has any kind of antifunghi resin like pines.

Pine is not a hardwood.
