"Super Bon Bon " Soul Coughing - Amazing 1 hit wonder - rest of the album blows - funny story - a friend of mine blew the lead singer, and for like 3 years out of my life the phrase "mad long balls" was part of our vernacular...good song though, despite the length of his sac.

I dunno that I'd call Super Bon Bon or SOul Coughing a one hit wonder. THey put out a few albums, and if they toured today, people would turn out to see them. Singer Mike Doughty regularly sells out 600-capacity venues when he plays solo.

Both good bands though

As for my pick for Coolest one hit wonder ever?
The ultimate one hit wonder, obviously...

Soul Coughing was a one hit wonder whose other albums were awesome... Kinda like Faith No More... both bands that kicked ass but for some reason MTV only got into just one of their songs.

If you wanna split hairs, The Cure and The Flaming Lips are both one hit wonders as well, though I don't think of them as such.

The FLaming Lips are one hit wonders? WHat, because of "She Don't Use Jelly"? Now that doesn't make any sense considering Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots went gold and had radio and TV play bigtime.

Like I said, as long as we're being technical here...
As I mentioned, I don't think of them as such, but they did have only one Top 40 single. The Grateful Dead meet that definition as well.

hey Clean that video of terrorism ya no thats a lame definition of terrorism anyhow jus cuz we use force 2 bring political change doesnt mean we are terrorist so if we wanted 2 bring change to germany in 1940s by attacking them we are terrosits? no floozy if we had a good reason(which we didnt) then its not terrorism
