If I were an American faced with Huckabee as the Republican candidate, I'd have to vote for pretty much anyone the Dems had chosen. Obama, Edwards... even Hillary. I'd feel dirty for months afterwards, of course, but I'd still do it.
Phred
I said essentially the exact same thing in another thread. If we're going to have a tax and spend liberal as president it must be attached to the Democrat party just for future considerations. Not to worry. He really has no more chance of actually winning than the idiot Ron Paul.

New Iowa poll EDWARDS LEADS IN IOWA
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2007/12/18/524511.aspx
In an InsiderAdvantage poll in Iowa, Edwards leads among (977) likely voters 30-26-24 over Clinton and Obama. Edwards is also the clear second choice winner, 42-29-28 over Clinton and Obama. This is the first poll to show Edwards solely in the lead in Iowa since July.
On the Republican side, among (833) likely voters, here are the numbers: Huckabee 28, Romney 25, Thompson 10, McCain 9, Paul 6, Giuliani 6. Among (418) highly likely voters, Romney leads with 28%, then Huckabee 25, Thompson 11, McCain 7, Paul 6, Giuliani 5, Tancredo 4.
Hey Zap whats up with your boy Julianie 5% vs Ron Paul 6%

In Iowa? You have to ask? Shithole state that nobody would give two shits about if it wasn't first. God-bothering retards on the R side and librarians on the D side.

Hhhm... so which state does Giuliani seek to win? He certainly doesn't stand a chance in New Hampshire either... Very doubtful for South Carolina... He doesn't even lead Florida anymore, and that was his strategy.... see you later Giuliani, enjoy your stay at the museum of 2001.

Someone want to give me a history lesson and explain why this state was given so much power?
If these assholes lead us to a Edwards / Huckabee election, I might have to kill myself.

New Hampshire is a nice counter-balance to Iowa, so don't think whoever wins Iowa has free reign upon all the states. Someone who places well in both, however, should have a good chance of continuing that success.
