Blue/Curled caps, please help (pics)

My friend's mushrooms are looking kind of weird. Their caps are very pale and really blue, and also, the caps are curling. As you can see in the first pic, the sides of the cap are stuck to the top of the cap. It's been this way with many of the mushrooms, and develops when they are relatively young. What could cause this?

exceptionally bad photography but it looks like they are way past their prime for picking
if they are curled up and the caps are fully open and you can see the gills then your friend should have picked them long ago.
the bluing could be caused by lack of humidity. drying out the shrooms and damaging the tissue is likely causing the bluing.
try to pick them before the veil breaks.
