hey i like your find, but you should take a little more care for your shrooms, it looks like you just stuffed them into you bad. i usually get a tuperware container and put my bag in there so they don't crunch. :smile:

Yea, I just through them in a bag. It all turns out the same either way, and the shrooms don't seem to mind. Here is another pic of the bigguns. Peace.

Enough with the sarcastic comments about mangling my shrooms. I kept plopping them into my bag and did not have the luxury of bringing a tupperware container that would hold a few pounds of shrooms--neither did I have the luxury of a digital camera camera to take into the field. (I borrowed a digi from a professor to take the above...)

As I am sure that the aforementioned comments were in good fun, I will bid you adieu.

Hi Shromleprachaun,

I use cardboard boxes such as Ritz Cracker box or A large ceraeal box or small cardboard box to put my shrooms in. then I do not shake the box all over to cause any injury to the shrooms.

Anyway cool pictures you posted. I too found some P. stuntzii today again.

Since i play paintball and buy those 100 pinatbal containers, there about 8 inches tall and 3.5 in diameter. After i have used the paintballs in them , i use them to store shrooms usually i bring a couple, and for bigger mushrooms i wrap paper towels around and put them in the bottom of backpack. just a thought.

Found another half pound today in an hour. Also found another hidden field. Going back tonight. Wish I could be like MJ and find them in my yard... Yet, a find is a find and I am greatful.
