PFTek Jar stuck at 90% colonisation, can I go on to the next stage? (see pics)

Hi,

This jar is in the incubation room for about 4 weeks now, and the substrate is allmost fully colonised. As you can see on the pics, there is still a half inch band against the jar wall that is uncolonised. Its been like this for over a week, and it seemed to have stalled.
(the bottom of the jar is all white, the sides are white apart from the band that you see on the pic, and in the top view the area within the red contour is the uncolonised band viewed from above).

Now I'm wondering what to do; should I wait, or can I proceed to the next stage?

(note: my substrate was a bit too wet in the first place)

patience is key to this hobby.
if its not fully colonized you have a high risk of contamination.
wait until about a week after its fully colonized before you birth.
or rush it and fail. choice is yours.

if the growth stalled there is a reason either there is a contamination , or if it is prepared on the dry side it stalled because there is not enough water to continue , if this is the case you can get it out of the box smell and if it smells mushroom but nothing else with a sterile knife cutting all uncolonized parts and there you go ..

as others said , if you have tapes over your holes remove them and flip them , what i told was the last thing to do if you are hopeless and waited enough and seen that it is really stalled ..

Assuming this is PFTek... Take off any foil or tape you may have over your holes, and flip the jar over. Help any CO2 in that jar get out.
