The dream trick

Ok.. so you're dreaming. It's somewhat vivid.. its moving fast. Then you realize.. a dream!!
Don't get too excited.. try to manipulate the dream.. if you feel it beginning to fade away.. PUT YOUR HANDS INFRONT OF YOU! Don't focus on your hands, just deliberately put your hands infront of your head (not covering your eyes.. just infront like you were telling someone to HALT!)
Watch as you become incredibly immersed in the dream. Watch as you bear witness to crisp real-life visual details you previously thought impossible in a dream.
This neat little trick is fuckin cool! Last night I just kept putting my hands infront of my head so that I would stay in the dream. I could see crystal clear, no "dream-sate" fuzziness.
I could read words, I could see my won reflection with great great detail.
Try it if you remember!

The only problem is.. sometimes it won't always work.
The dream will still fade.
Although it is 9 times out of 10 effective, sometimes it's not.
I had 2 lucid dreams the other night, and i always use my hands. The first i spent around 2 solid minutes staring at my hands trying to get "clear".. but it wouldn't have it.
So i gave up and probably lasted around a minute or two before waking up.
Second one i managed to get pretty vivid for a while.
There is nothing like having full control though. I have challenged myself to find better things to do then fly around and have cars like a infiniti G35 morph around me.
I'm going to try and have a conversation with someone special next time I get there.

Yea, ask dream entities questions pertaining to your life. Ask them things like "Where are we?" What is this? Who are you? Who am I? What do you think of me..
BTW.. dont look AT your hands. Just put them infront of your head so you see acknoledge them in your field of view but dont focus on them. You will fade away.

i havent been remembering any of my dreams lately. What can i do to kick them back in? I want to start getting lucid again without depriving myself of sleep, or waking up and going back to sleep.

Try rubbing your hands together or any body stimulus.
Try focusing on a object.
Try focusing on the ground beneath you.

I find that focus doesn't really help EXCEPT when you first realize your lucid. Then you focus on your hands and clear it up. Happened last night.
Funny thing is, I never jump for joy or even get excited like I used to i'm so used to the experience. I was just like "ha, here I am again... meh i don't feel like flying, thats gettin old.. think i'll pick a zit" haha...
I'm going to try conversatin with people there next time. I've somehow gotten to the point where I get lucid about every other night.

When I first started trying to improve my dream recall I found keeping a dream journal helped very well. I saw substantial improvement within the first two weeks and my recall abilities haven't faded since then, even when I neglect the journal for months at a time. I find also thinking about my dreams for a while after I wake up and then later in the day helps as well.
I just can't drink/smoke during the day or I don't remember my dreams at all.
In the last little while I've managed to realize I am dreaming a couple times, but I can't seem to do anything I wouldn't be able to do in real life. For example, I'll try to jump up and start flying but instead I just fall back down on my ass and wake up. I think I'm trying to force it too much and I just need to let the dream stabilize or get it more 'clear' as many of you have been putting it. When I realize I'm dreaming my first instinct has been to immediately try for the impossible, next time I will try to keep calm.

My mom suggested I do that!

"We are going to die, and that makes us the lucky ones. Most people are never going to die because they are never going to be born. The potential people who could have been here in my place but who will in fact never see the light of day outnumber the sand grains of Arabia. Certainly those unborn ghosts include greater poets than Keats, scientists greater than Newton. We know this because the set of possible people allowed by our DNA so massively exceeds the set of actual people. In the teeth of these stupefying odds it is you and I, in our ordinariness, that are here." - Richard Dawkins

When i was reading a lot about lucid dreaming i'd try to fly immediately and it would only work half the time, the rest of the time i'd just barely float off of the ground. And my dreams are always set in like sweden or something. Rolling green hills, snow capped mountains and such. odd....

Sorry if I am wrong. But, the way you use "try", tells me that you only read about this, but never really experienced it.. I know I might be wrong. But, if I am correct, please "own" the information you pass on, before you pass it on?

The Don Magic Juan trick...look for your hands. When i remember to just say 'I'm going to remember my dreams and or I'm going to have a lucid dream' that usually works for me. Because i smoke a lot of weed it seems to affect remembering my dreams in the morning and a friend I was with on a orienteering trip who also burns said he bought this stuff called Sleep Comes Easy and it has really helped. I got some and have had some wild ass but enjoyable dreams and I'm even able to fall back into my dreams if i want to if I wake up. It's made out of organic sesame oil, organic ginger, castor oil, beeswax, and oils of lavender, clove, chamomile, and more. look for it google littlemoonessentials
Here are some lucid dream producing herbs but i've never tried any of them so I reccomend reading some reviews if you can find them, I'm going to talk to my shamana friend and ask her if she has any methods. google psychoactiveherbs B vitamin deficiency can create many problems including depression, and lack of dream recall. B-6 alone has like 60 functions! I believe it helps increase production of melatonin and serotonin, so eat B vitamins and put a smile on.
Also how many people honestly wake up and try to remember dreams? When i do this it works everytime, but most people are already worried about the day ahead. Has anyone seen waking life? In the beginning a little girl says dreams are destiny. In case you didn't realize the kid got hit by a car and dies towards the beginning of the movie and has to slowly go through his dreaming world and become aware he died before floating into the sky.
A lot of people think the dream world is the real world and this waking reality is an illusion.

Am I not allowed to post where to buy those things like that? I just read the advertising things but I'm not afiliated with those just use them. I would much rather just edit my post than be banned.

I lucid dream all the time you goof. And I do not "own" this info. It is widely available.
I wrote "try", so that people that have not yet been intrudced to this world, can "try" it for themselves.
