 wtf i cant get ubuntu to install

i downloaded the iso image and burned it to a disk like i was supposed to. i restarted the pc with the new disk in the drive and it just restarted like normal and didnt do shit. whats going on? ive been trying to get this thing to work for two days now!

you may have to hit esc when the computer first fires up. make sure to run the check cd option before u start the install process. i just went through this myself.

The key to push to get to BIOS will vary with mobo's...
When you first boot up it will say something like "Press F2 to enter setup" or something similar, do that, then change boot order.

sometimes there is a splash screen that hides the command to tell u how to enter bios.

Then when you turn it on press F1-F12 and delete over and over again.

i figured it out easy after the first post. i new that i just didnt think of it at all.
i got it workin now its pretty cool but im learning how to install shit with this so thats a lil different from windows. its not too complicated though.
i also had a bitch time getting video to work. then all of a sudden for no apparent reason they just started workin so i did something not sure what though.

I had problems with Gust Gibbon, Like the dependencies and packages weren't working quite right. apt-get failed me and messed some things up.
