i already answered you so this must be an old post. but for anyone else... A spore print is when you take a mushroom cap and cut it off the stem. you place the mushroom cap , gills down, onto a sterile index card (put the index card in the oven for about 5 minutes at 300 degrees to sterlize it). place the mushroom cap on one side of the index card and leave it there for about 8-12 hours, place a bowl over top the mushroom cap and index card to keep out other germs and spores. as the mushroom cap dries it drops little spores ( or seeds for those not know what a spore is) and as the spores drop they make a "print" in the index card. to grow mushrooms you just scrape the spores off the card and innoculate your medium. so i hope that helps.
