This is where i would like to see genetic modification move into. I want a glow in the dark cat or a blue cat or any number of mods.
As long as the pet can live a full healthy life, i see nothing wrong with it.

you could get glow in the dark mice, in a specially designed glow in the dark room with glow in the dark cats, then throw glow sticks in it.

Ideally they should also plug themselves in to charge.

In my high school bio class, we spliced a glow-in-the-dark gene into some bacteria. Damn, I wish we could have done cats instead.
