Spray with H2O2. Cobweb = save-able. And keep an eye on it. And I know it could just be the camera, but your substrate looks nasty

Oh and all fruits are safe. Chemicals and such don't transfer from mold to fungus so you can't have trich poison inside your fruit bodies. If you have a contamination your biggest fear is going to be cross contamination of the rest of your projects and subs as well as you growing room. The fruits will take care of themselves. Course they're more likely to have contaminations if you're going to make spore prints out of them. *shrug*

Are you sure? I saw a picture of a casing someone let fruit that had trich. the mushrooms looked all twisted and contaminated, I can't imagine it'd be safe to eat them.

Cobweb thrives in conditions where FAE is low. Even if you blast it, it will return until you can get the airflow up.
You have some really good rhizo going, give it some air and you will have a nice harvest.

Pffft. It's all personal preference somebody. If you don't want to eat it then toss it . But the mycelium don't transfer contaminants from bacteria or other molds. They actually have systems in place to keep this from happening. They create anti-microbial/anti-fungal chemicals and zones to try to ward off such attacks as this. So unless you see trich growing ON the mushroom I wouldn't worry about it too much. But just like Halloween candy: If in doubt, throw it out...or sell it to your friend

The mushrooms were all twisted up because of lack of air exchange, which is also a leading cause of trichoderma. Having cobweb, trichoderma, penicillium, etc., does not render the mushrooms unfit to eat. It DOES however, render the substrate unfit to be in your grow area, so remove contaminated substrates on sight.
Cobweb(Dactylium) can easily be treated with 3% peroxide. Soak the area well and the cobweb will melt on contact. Repeat twice at 12 hour intervals after that, whether you see the mold return or not. This works with cobweb, but no other molds. RR
