I watched the documentary "Maybe Logic" about Robert Anton Wilson last night. I noticed that a ton of things that Wilson says about reality tunnels are often repeated here ("what the thinker thinks, the prover proves" is a favorite of Icelander's, or "who is the master that makes the grass green?" is one I saw Silversoul use recently). Every reality tunnel is a gamble. Even the ideology of belief tunnels is a gamble, but I think it's flexibility and openness makes it less of a gamble than most other ideologies - it is almost an anti-ideology.
I liked the part of the movie where he talked about pain being a mistake. He says something to the effect that pain is proof of things making no sense and why couldn't we simply have something on our head's light up saying "go to the doctor". I was like "hell ya, Robert Anton Wilson".
Pain is one of those things that sucks no matter which of the infinite perspectives you choose to take on. If you disagree, you simply haven't felt enough pain yet to agree. I think that makes pain special

I was reading Cosmic Trigger V1 while waiting in line at the SF TOOL show last night, someone would say something and I would read the same thought on the next page.
I wouldn't have been surprised if RAW mentioned me by name in the book.
My ticket was seat number #333 but I found myself in section #23...
Once I started tripping, the connections and coincidences to the book were too numerous to list, it was the greatest show I ever saw, the extended Stinkfist was BEYOND my COMPREHENSION.
Any RAW fan should definitely read The Cosmic Trigger series if they haven't...

Very well said. I most heartily agree.
I would be much more excited about humanites future and present if there were a lot more people of Roberts mind set.

Can anyone decipher what Wilson is saying at 22:40 in Maybe Logic? I've almost finished doing subtitles, that's basicly the last part missing. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1422743250837892881
