Task force seizes $50,000 worth of ecstasy, LSD November 27, 2007 - billingsgazette.net
A drug task force has seized more than $50,000 in illegal street drugs from a Billings residence.
Billings police Sgt. Jeremy House said members of the Eastern Montana High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force seized 1,800 ecstasy pills and more than 2,000 hits of LSD from a rental house at 1817 Rehberg Lane. One man was arrested on a fugitive warrant from South Dakota, and further arrests are expected as the investigation continues, House said.
Members of the task force served a search warrant at the residence on Friday. Robert Joseph Hauge, 26, was arrested during the search and booked into the county jail on the out-of-state warrant. Hauge was one of several people living at the house, the sergeant said.
House said it is unusual to come across such a large quantity of ecstasy and LSD in the Billings area. He said it remains unclear if the drugs were bound for Billings or another location.
"This is the largest seizure we've had in Yellowstone County in years," House said.
The ecstasy has a street value of about $45,000, House said, while the LSD could be sold for about $10,000. The task force also seized $6,700 in cash, a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, he said.
The task force includes officers from the Billings Police Department, the Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office and U.S. Customs and Immigration agents.

That's a shame. Dosing in Montana could lead to some great things.

Robert needs help from a good attorney. There are issues that could get this case dismissed if the right attorney got involved. He has now been sent to SD for the fugitive charge and will be returned to Montana for further booking(s).
Anyone out there in the South Dakota area or Montana that can help, please respond! "They know what they know, but they don't know what they know...what the f*#k. They just strut."

Right here is the whole problem with this arrest:
Members of the task force served a search warrant at the residence on Friday. Robert Joseph Hauge, 26, was arrested during the search and booked into the county jail on the out-of-state warrant. Hauge was one of several people living at the house, the sergeant said.
House said it is unusual to come across such a large quantity of ecstasy and LSD in the Billings area. He said it remains unclear if the drugs were bound for Billings or another location.
If they really had a warrant, why was this comment made about it being "unusual to come across"????? They stumbled into it!! Serious, anyone with any legal connections: Please reply!
