Working for NORML

Have any of you worked, interned for, or volunteered for NORML (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws). It seems to be one of the biggest legalization organizations out there. I found out theres an office only a few miles from my place, and I'm applying for an internship. Anyone have experience working for the organization? Do they drug test employees? (only kidding)

I'm really a narc. My job is to infiltrate societies like NORML and pass out free bud so they don't accomplish anything while they are too busy staring at their hands or whatever you damn hippies do in your free time.
In my world, we're all about beating orphans and nuking muslim countries. Get used to it.
PS: does anybody know where I can watch today's Republican debate online?

NORML doesn't support legalization, they support legalization of marijuana. They are a start, but I don't really like what they stand for, as they want other drugs to remain illegal.

Yea, well I meant to refer to "legalization" as just marijuana. I am willing to bet that a lot of their supporters and members are pro-legalization of other drugs (mushrooms for example), but they view marijuana as the logical first step, which I think it is.

I made an animated .GIF banner for NORML, which is posted on their website.

NORML NY is depressingly defunct, they never respond when I reach out.

All those violent crimes happen every x number of minutes, yet cops waste a ton of time arresting people for marijuana. If it were legalized, they could focus on truly bad crime.

Cops in most cities aren't investing anywhere near as much time on marijuana as they are on violent crimes. People in East Bumble fuck get arrested for marijuana possession. Not to say that it doesn't happen everyday in the cities, but I'd bet the ratios of marijuana possession:violent crime arrests are much lower in the cities then in the rest of the US.

Its good that some people are able to make a living by fighting for freedom.
I donated some money to NORML last week.

What I'm really thinking about is if I did work for them, would I include it on future resumes. I think it would depend a lot on the employer, but I would most likely include it.
If a potential employer can't see it is valid advocacy group experience, and just see it as "ohh so this kid smokes nug, we aren't hiring him", then I'd rather not work for them.
