I posted this in the PNW Finds also, posting here 'cause I liked a couple of the pics, you might too.
So, I went out to the 2nd biggest of my 4 patches 2-3 weeks ago, and picked all these guys from it. Unfortunately, I let half of them sit in my garage for 3 weeks, so they took a long time to dry, accumulated some mold, ended up tossing that half out.

Decided to get some spores and spray the crops. Anyone done this with success? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v70/darkstar8950/IMG_0119.jpg
Went back to the same patch two days ago(along with the other patches which were bare). Man was I surprised to find at least a third of what I picked the last visit... Thought it would be empty 'cause it didn't have any pins coming up before.

I must say, I'm very pleased with what I got with my first season coming to a close.

Quiet nice haul, man
Anyway, you should really use paper towels instead of tin foil for drying since it soaks off the wetness, while tin foil just "reflects" it. Just a tip
And don't be too disappointed when the patch that's fruiting great this year, doesn't fruit too well the next year. Happened to some of mine. I guess it's because of of constant picking, walking on the substrate and the lack of nutrients.
Keep searching to update your list of patches

Yeah, the tin foil was a last resort there. Normally just use Big 5 ads.

cyans are wood loving mushrooms, found growing usually on deciduous woodchips, ive found them growing out of alder tree debris, out of grass and a few other things... but look for the big beds of woodchips that have had time to decay a little bit
where me and jaymes live, honestly all you have to do is look for woodchips and you have a really good chance of finding Cyans..
