Psilocybe Cyanescens and Panaeolus Cyanescens are two different species. The first is a woodlover, the latter, a dunglover.

There are 2 different Cyanescens.... Psilocybe and Panaeolus or Copelandia..... Psilocybe Cyanescens... is a wood thriving species and more potent than the Pan Cyans.... Pan Cyans are a dung thriving species and grow tall and thin and white (like me lol) where as the Psilocybe Cyans tend to look more like brown, wavy capped cubensis...

You didn't find anything using the search function?? Weird! When I search for pan/pans/cyans/pan cyans I always get tons of results...
Anyway, Psilocybe Cyanescens is a wood loving species that grows in moderate climatic zones of the earth. However Panaeolus Cyanescens (also called Copelandia Cyanescens) is a dung loving species that grows in the tropical regions of the world and is considered to be one of the most powerful mushrooms of the world if not the most powerful one, at least when fresh, because of it's tremendous amount of Psilocin content.
The Panaeolus Cyanescens is a rather small and gray mushroom, while the Ps. cyanescens tends to very pretty much in size (the biggest one I've ever found weighed 37 grams), has a wavy caramel coloured cap and a white stem.
The names, however refer to their affection of bluing strongly when touched (Cyan=blue),

Correct! Panaeolus Cyanescens are more potent than Ps. Cyanescens.
I didn't mean to tell you that Pan. Cyanescens are more potent than Azures. Azures ARE the most potent mushrooms (at least they mostly contain the most mind altering alkaloids + you mostly consume mushrooms when dried making it the most powerful anyway...). Though Panaeolus Cyanescens contain VERY much Psilocin that, unfortunately, falls apart when getting in touch with Oxygen over the time, making the mushroom less potent pretty fast.

There is a FAQ for a reason
http://www.shroomery.org/5120/What-is-the-most-potent-mushroom
Quote:
Likely the most potent species are the wood chips inhabiting species like Psilocybe azurescens, Psilocybe cyanescens and Psilocybe subaeruginosa. Similar in the alkaloid content are the dung inhabiting species Panaeolus cyanescens and Panaeolus tropicalis. Also very potent is the pasture growing species P. semilanceata but the cultivation of the later is extremely difficult. Psilocybe cubensis is slightly less potent but the easiest to cultivate, that being the reason why it's so popular. The exact alkaloid content varies greatly even from one specimen to another withing the same species.
