Doesn?t a lag of air circulation slow down the incubation?

I personaly have found that to be an overrated theory.
I mean mush myc does not mind higher levels of c02 build up , unlike birthed items that are in fruiting stages. Once in awhile I get a few stubborn ones who require some venting\breathing.But I have stopped that inversion of jars and such. I dunno could just be my weird assed perspective.

From my experience the air exchange is better with a foil only lid as opposed to the metal lid with holes.
